PPGBC Self-assessment
In recent years, there has been increasing pressure for Graduate Programs (PPGs) to conduct their own evaluations. In this context, in March 2021, the PPGBC Coordination conducted a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses, and Threats). The results of this analysis guided the strategic planning of the PPGBC.
As a result, 35 goals were established:
Short-term (by 06/2023): 13 goals
Medium-term (by 06/2025): 10 goals
Long-term (by 06/2027): 6 goals
Very long-term (by 06/2029): 6 goals
The PPGBC held the First Self-Evaluation Seminar in October 2022 to discuss the progress made in the first 12 months after the completion of the Program’s strategic planning. In 2025, the Second Self-Evaluation Seminar assessed the fulfillment of the 13 short-term goals planned for implementation and fully update the document.

20/02 to 07/03/2025: Carrying out the PPGBC 2025 Self-Assessment by teachers, students and graduates
2025 [Date to be defined]: Second PPGBC Self-Evaluation Seminar, after the submission of the CAPES Quadrennial Evaluation Report
Continuous: Analysis of course performance, dissertation quality, and the adequacy of PPGBC regulations, with continuous discussions by the PPGBC Collegiate and the proposal of new regulatory instruments.
